In you are using Windows 7, you see a warning that Microsoft will no longer be supporting Windows 7 as of Jan 14^th, 2020.

What this means for you?

• The operating system will still run as it has for the last 6 years.
• Microsoft Office applications and applications from other vendors will continue to function normally.
• Web browsers like Chrome, Firefox, and Internet Explorer will continue to work normally.

While Microsoft will no longer provide regular updates, we’ve taken steps to ensure a safe computing environment for you.

Every computer is running Kaspersky Anti-Virus software.

Our Firewall and VPN are configured to prevent malicious attacks.

As we roll out new computers to staff, they will be receiving Windows 10. We’ve been rolling out Windows 10 computers for the last two years in preparation for this event. As you can see in this graphic from Microsoft, there are still many organizations using Windows 7.
